This is my first time trying to do anything isometric-y, so it took way longer to do the walls than it should. Plus, my grid is non-standard (it’s offset, so movement is more hex-like than a regular grid).

Isometric-style map thingy is now rendering!

17 minutes in, and I have a screen shot. Good thing I’ve used Slick a lot and this only took me a few minutes. But, I have a project that compiles and runs, which is always a good place to start.

Right now, I’m starting a 7-day roguelike, tentatively titled “When Zombies Attack!”. I’ll be posting WIP screenshots and commentary here. Wish me luck!
