Working on an animation system for movement and attacks, no real progress to show in a screen shot.  I should likely not be working on animation since there isn’t much of a game here. I may put that on hold and work on some simple AI for the zombies, and map generation, and other basic gameplay stuff.  It’s likely I won’t finish this in 7 days, but we’ll see, I still have a couple of days left.

As you may have noticed I am doing a Zombie RL too, but it doesn’t look as cool as yours. In mine I figured zombies are basically run by instinct rather than any sort of intelligence (which fits in with the zombie movies I have seen) so I think a barebones move-toward-the-player if in sight is good enough, and I think fits the theme. At least that is the track I am taking in mine. Makes things much more simple and seems to work fine.

Yeah, I’m pretty much taking the same approach for my AI, random shuffling if the player isn’t in sight, head for the player if the player is in sight. That’s all I’m going to have time for in 7 days, if I even get that much done :)
