Goals for 2009
I wrote a blog post about my goals, but I thought they needed a more permanent home. So, here they are, updated and revised:
- Marry the woman of my dreams, Jane.
- Write a significant short story once a month, at least 5,000 words, except for the months of April and November (see below).
- Participate in Script Frenzy in April, and National Novel Writing Month in November. By participate, I mean finish.
- Write Tiny Fiction each week, maximum of 500 words. So far, in 2009, I have written 3 Tiny Fictions, and missed 1 week.
- Get SYWTBK to at least an alpha-level release by beginning of summer.
- Get WGTA to at least an alpha-level release by the end of the year.
- Focus on getting myself out of debt.
- Paint more of my Battlelore minis.
- Do a better job of keeping in touch with friends I don’t see much in person. Facebook has been a big help with this.
- By the end of the year, lose 20 pounds.
I’ll update this throughout the year as I make progress on these goals.
